i bought this antenna hoping to get reception on my midland 75-822 40 channel cb radio i got 0 reception and 0 transmition with it i hope the company that took my money is happy as i will never buy anything from them again fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me
i have a mobile cb radio, which does not have the same connector as a normal CB radio. Once it fit the antenna worked great, just beware that you might need this convertor if your using a handheld unit. Great antenna if your able to use the connector it has. So i needed to go out to radioshack and but a convertor to make it fit on my mobile CB radio.
The vinyl cover of the base is flimsy at best. Falls off and will get lost over time leaving bare metal magnet touching your paint.
I bought this antenna to put on my motorcycle to be able to use my midland CB I also got the Cobra connector and everything works just fine and saved myself a few dollars.the magnite is very strong and the antenna worked well ,,,
Seems to work fine, and costs less than on the Cobra website. But: it was BENT DOUBLE to fit into a small box, and still has not fully straightended out.
